Good care starts with the manufacturer’s instructions. Materials, motors, charging ports and water-resistance ratings can all affect the correct method.
Before cleaning
Switch the product off and disconnect it from charging. Remove batteries where the instructions require it.
Clean as directed
Use the method recommended for that specific product. Do not immerse a product unless it is explicitly described as waterproof, and keep charging ports dry when required.
Dry completely
Pat dry with a clean, lint-free cloth and allow the product to air dry fully before storage or charging.
Store separately
Keep products in a clean, dry place, ideally in their own storage pouch. Separate storage helps prevent dust, damage and contact between incompatible materials.
Stop using a product if its surface becomes damaged, difficult to clean or otherwise changes unexpectedly.
